Atherton High School has improved to a good level of performance since its last inspection, which was rated as requires improvement. The school has made significant strides in creating a positive learning environment where pupils feel happy, safe, and motivated to learn. The dedicated staff, supported by the Education Partnership Trust, work collaboratively to ensure the curriculum is well-structured and recognizes the diverse needs of the students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). However, there are still areas that require attention to enhance the overall experience for pupils, particularly regarding their understanding of modern British values and career guidance.
