Wygate Park Academy is a warm, inclusive primary school where pupils feel safe and valued and show exceptional behaviour and respect for diversity. Inspectors found outstanding behaviour and attitudes and personal development, with good quality of education, leadership and management, and early years provision. The school has high aspirations and strong outcomes in reading, writing and mathematics, supported by a vibrant reading culture, effective phonics and a curriculum tailored well to pupils' needs, particularly for those with SEND and those who speak English as an additional language. Early years routines, attendance and leadership are also strengths, and safeguarding is effective.
