Snowhill School is performing at a good level, showing consistent strengths across the quality of education, behaviour, personal development, and leadership. The school caters to students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties, many of whom have experienced disruptions in their previous educational settings. It provides a supportive environment that allows pupils to build their self-esteem and resilience, helping them to enjoy learning and make good progress from their starting points. However, the school faces challenges regarding the timely review of support for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and ensuring that curriculum components are clearly outlined to help teachers identify and address misconceptions among students.
