The school is part of Thrive Church of England Academy Trust and serves a community with above-average deprivation and a higher-than-average proportion of pupils with SEN support. Overall, the school is performing well, with strong inclusion and expected standards across most areas. The curriculum is well sequenced, teaching is effective, and personal development is a strength, with pupils taking on leadership roles and learning about safety, respect and modern Britain. Leadership has stabilised after a period of instability; the trust, governors and leaders are now united behind high ambitions, and staff feel well supported. Safeguarding standards are met.
