Iver Village Infant Academy is a small, welcoming infant school in Iver, Buckinghamshire, and is part of The Park Federation Academy Trust. A full section 5 inspection in July 2026 found the school fulfilling the expected standard across achievement, curriculum and teaching, early years, inclusion, leadership and governance, and personal development and wellbeing. Pupils are happy and safe, behave well, and benefit from a well-sequenced curriculum; most pupils, including disadvantaged pupils and those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, achieve well and make positive progress. Strengths include strong leadership, effective governance, highly positive relationships with families, and inclusive support for disadvantaged and vulnerable pupils. Early years children get off to a positive start, and pupils develop confidence in reading, writing and mathematics, with secure phonics foundations. Safeguarding standards are met, and the school culture is calm and orderly with rare bullying. The main concern is attendance: absence and persistent absence are well above national averages, although leaders are taking effective action and rates are starting to reduce. Leaders also need to ensure writing accuracy, spelling and handwriting are consistently prioritised, and that assessment is used consistently to identify and address misconceptions. Overall, the school is in a sound position with clear next steps, and leaders have an accurate understanding of priorities.
