Fortismere School is performing well with an overall effectiveness rated as good. This marks a change from its previous outstanding grade due to a lengthy gap between inspections, having been exempt from routine checks until 2020. Leaders have implemented an ambitious curriculum and set high expectations for all pupils, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). While pupils perform well in public examinations and safety measures are in place, there are areas for improvement, particularly in the consistency of staff behavior management and pupil understanding checks.

- English
- Maths
- 3 subjects from qualifications that count towards the English Baccalaureate (EBacc), like sciences, language and history
