Westroyd Primary School and Nursery has made significant progress since its last inspection, moving from requiring improvement to being rated as good overall. The school showcases outstanding behavior and attitudes among its pupils, who exemplify politeness and strong relationships with staff. The leadership team has effectively adapted the curriculum to support older pupils and has successfully reduced persistent absenteeism. The emphasis on reading is evident, and children in early years make a strong start. However, there are areas for improvement in how the foundation subjects are delivered and sequenced.
