Montgomery Academy has shown significant improvement since its last inspection, moving from a status of requiring improvement to a current assessment of good across all areas. The school has effectively enhanced its academic expectations and developed a broader, more ambitious curriculum tailored to student needs. Staff and students report a welcoming environment, where positive relationships contribute to students feeling cared for and motivated. The transition to this improved status can be attributed to stable staffing and solid support from The Fylde Coast Academy Trust, which has facilitated positive changes throughout the school. However, despite these advancements, some older pupils still exhibit gaps in learning that affect their educational outcomes.
