Ellowes Hall Sports College has made remarkable progress since its previous inspection, moving from an 'Requires Improvement' grade to a 'Good' rating across all categories. The school now has a positive culture with higher expectations for both behavior and academic achievement, which pupils have generally responded to well. The leadership has fostered a supportive environment where pupils feel safe and valued, with strong involvement in extracurricular activities enhancing their school experience. However, there are some concerns regarding a minority of pupils who struggle to meet behavior expectations, and gaps in knowledge have emerged for some learners, particularly those with SEND.
