Alder Coppice Primary School continues to demonstrate a solid level of performance as a good school. The institution maintains high expectations across academic, social, and emotional dimensions for all pupils, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Students benefit from an ambitious curriculum that thoughtfully sequences knowledge from early years through to Year 6, ensuring pupils engage in meaningful learning experiences that prepare them for future challenges. Additionally, the school cultivates a positive learning environment where pupils take on leadership roles and develop important life skills through various responsibilities. However, there are areas requiring attention. Attendance remains an issue for some pupils, leading to gaps in their knowledge. This is compounded by feedback from a number of parents of pupils with SEND, who feel inadequately informed about their children's support and progress, even if inspection evidence does not fully corroborate these concerns. Moving forward, the school aims to address these attendance issues and enhance communication with parents to ensure all pupils receive the best possible education and support.
