Launcelot Primary School continues to perform well, maintaining its status as a good school. The welcoming and inclusive environment fosters pupils' pride and engagement, encouraging them to enjoy learning and collaborate effectively. High expectations from leaders and strong early reading provisions contribute significantly to pupils’ overall success in their studies. However, the school is also responding to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and is implementing changes to ensure all students, including those with SEND, receive a comprehensive education that meets their needs. Despite many strengths, the school has identified areas for improvement, particularly in the consistency of assessment practices across subjects like music, history, and science. Enhancing these assessment methods will ensure that all students are prepared for more advanced concepts. Leaders are proactive in developing culturally enriching experiences for pupils and providing professional support for staff; the school is well-placed to continue its positive trajectory.
