Mayflower Primary School, established in 1843, is a community primary school situated in the Poplar area of East London, within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. Originally named Upper North Street School, the institution earned recognition as "State Primary School of the Year" in 2016. With its roots in history, the school was severely damaged in an air raid during World War I, leading to the deaths of 18 children, which marked the first instance of civilians being targeted in that conflict.

In 1952, the school was renamed Mayflower Primary School in honor of the ship Mayflower, symbolizing the spirit of exploration and innovation that the school embodies. Mayflower Primary School operates as a co-educational institution, catering to children aged 3 to 11. The school has an enrollment of 384 students, as of January 2017, and has received an "Outstanding" rating by Ofsted on all criteria, with inspectors praising a dynamic leadership and a rich, inspiring curriculum.

Of note, Mayflower Primary School has also achieved outstanding SATs results in November 2019, placing it among the best of the 15,000 schools in England. The school is situated at the address Upper North Street, E14 6DU, England.
