Longdean School is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form located in the southeastern part of Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, with an academy status (HP3 8JB). Founded in 1955, it merged with Bennett's End Secondary Modern School in 1970, becoming Longdean School while retaining its original motto, "Rejoice in Thy Youth." The school caters to students aged 11 to 18 and is renowned for its specialisms in Maths and Computing. Longdean School has a community impact through its sports center, Astro pitch, grass pitches, and Multi Use Games Area.

The establishment underwent academy status in the summer term of 2011 and has since worked in a consortium with neighboring schools Adeyfield Academy and Astley Cooper School for enhanced post-16 provision. Staff development and well-being are also coordinated through the consortium.

The school gained prominence with the inclusion in the Government's £2 billion Priority School Building Programme, which resulted in the construction of a new school building completed by 2016. The previous premises were replaced due to them exceeding their 25-year life expectancy.

Longdean School serves its catchment area of Bennetts End, Nash Mills, and Leverstock Green, and includes notable former pupils such as Paul Boateng, Jessica Stretton, and Max Whitlock.
