Safeguarding standards are met. The school has joined Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust since the last inspection, which has strengthened leadership capacity, strategic oversight and the approach to raising standards. Pupils achieve well from their starting points and are prepared for their next stage of education. Attendance is above national averages and persistent absence is below national averages. Reading and phonics teaching is particularly effective, the early years curriculum is purposeful, and support for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities is tailored and effective. Pupils typically behave well, benefit from a strong personal development offer, and are part of a positive Christian ethos that promotes kindness, service and community. There are two main areas for improvement. Teachers do not always use assessment precisely enough to choose activities that maximise pupils' progress across all subjects, including personal, social and health education, so some pupils do not progress as successfully as they could. In addition, transition routines between activities are not consistently effective, meaning some pupils take too long to settle and lose learning time. Leaders should address these points to ensure all pupils build securely on what they already know and can do.
