Westminster Academy has demonstrated good overall effectiveness in its recent inspection, with particularly outstanding sixth-form provision. High expectations and a broad curriculum support students' academic achievement while also ensuring that pupils, including those with special educational needs, receive the necessary support. The school has a calm atmosphere conducive to learning, where pupils feel safe and respected. While the recent curriculum changes are yet to be fully embedded across all subjects, the school's leadership has been proactive in identifying both strengths and areas for further improvement. This is the first routine inspection since the COVID-19 pandemic and follows a gap of ten years since the last graded inspection.
