All Saints Catholic College is an exceptionally inclusive and caring secondary school where pupils, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities and disadvantaged backgrounds, achieve well and feel safe. The school serves a community with above-average deprivation and a high proportion of pupils with education, health and care plans, and it includes the Bethlehem Centre resourced provision. Inspectors found provision for pupils with SEND to be exceptionally strong, with tailored support, pupil passports and expert specialist staff helping pupils make excellent progress. Leadership and governance are very strong, with leaders deeply committed to and knowledgeable about pupils and the local community. Personal development and wellbeing are exceptionally strong, with a broad extracurricular offer, high-quality personal, social, health and citizenship education, strong careers education and exceptional pastoral care. Safeguarding standards are met. Pupils are polite, behave exceptionally well, and benefit from effective attendance support and reduced suspensions. Teaching and the curriculum are strong, and pupils achieve above national averages, with disadvantaged pupils also achieving well. The main areas for continued focus are not serious weaknesses. Leaders should continue improving the consistency and quality of curriculum and teaching so all pupils, especially those experiencing socio-economic disadvantage, benefit fully. They should also sustain recent attendance improvements and keep reducing persistent and severe absence for disadvantaged pupils and those with SEND. The school was inspected under section 5 in July 2026 and is currently led by an acting headteacher following a leadership transition.
