betaTawhid Boys School, a private educational institution, was established in June 2000 with the objective of offering superior Islamic and academic education. Operating under the Tawhid Educational Trust, the school is centered in London's Stoke Newington area, with its address at Cazenove Road, N16 6PA. The school is managed by the Shura committee, has an enrollment of 109 boys between the ages of 10 and 16, and a capacity for 140 students.
Founded with the inauguration by Moulana Yusuf Motala, head and founder of Darul-Uloom, Bury, Greater Manchester, in September 2000, Tawhid Boys School is the first independent Islamic boys' school in its immediate region. Initially based within the premises of the North London Mosque Trust, the school moved to its own premises in November 2001, which have since been expanded several times. The number of students has steadily increased over the years.
The school's name, Tawhid, is derived from the Islamic concept of the oneness of God, stressing the Islamic values and principles integral to its curriculum. As a response to the 2017 Westminster Attack, the school established a link with Westminster Abbey and was visited by Dr John Hall, the Dean of Westminster, promoting inter-faith harmony and solidarity.
