Woodside High School has been assessed as good overall, following its first routine inspection since an outstanding rating eight years ago. The new headteacher and her leadership team have launched initiatives to improve the school, which have been positively received by pupils. They experience a broad curriculum with high expectations from staff and have opportunities for personal development and involvement in school life, reflecting a supportive environment. However, some staff inconsistently apply the new behaviour policy, leading to minor disruptions in a few classes, and there are ongoing efforts to enhance the curriculum and address persistent absenteeism.
