North View Academy continues to perform well, maintaining its status as a good school since its last inspection in April 2018. The school is tailored for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, providing a supportive environment where strong relationships between staff and pupils promote high expectations and personal development. Pupils feel safe and supported, benefiting from a broad and ambitious curriculum designed to meet their individual needs. However, there are some areas where the curriculum does not fully enable pupils to build on prior knowledge, affecting their overall progress in certain subjects.
