Harris Academy Chobham is performing at an exceptionally high level. This large all-through school, part of the Harris Federation, provides an excellent education across early years, primary and secondary phases. Pupils thrive, achieve highly, behave maturely and attend well, and safeguarding arrangements are effective. The curriculum is broad and ambitious, early reading and support for pupils with SEND are particularly strong, and leadership at school and trust level is highly effective. The school was previously judged outstanding and this inspection confirms very strong provision in almost all areas. Early years provision gives children an exceptional start, pupils develop detailed knowledge and vocabulary, and staff are well supported through high-quality professional development. Pupils benefit from a wide range of trips, clubs, music opportunities and careers work, and sixth-form students are mature and independent. The main area for improvement is the sixth form, which is good rather than outstanding. A-level outcomes are not currently as high as the rest of the school, and sixth-form students do not consistently access the same rich set of personal development and enrichment opportunities as younger pupils. Inspectors asked the school to widen and consistently provide these experiences so students can further develop their character and contribute more actively to the school and wider community.
