Notable strengths include exceptionally careful attendance tracking and tailored family support, a highly effective and analytical approach to behaviour, and an inclusive, research-informed curriculum that is highly personalised to each pupil. Therapy is seamlessly integrated into daily teaching, and staff work as a unified multi-disciplinary team. Leadership is strategic and evidence-informed, with strong professional development, effective governance, and outstanding family and community engagement. Pupils make strong progress from their starting points, feel safe, and are well prepared for secondary placements. The only area for development, identified in next steps, is to continue refining curriculum and assessment so that teaching consistently secures deep understanding and sustained transformative outcomes for all pupils. Despite this, the school is exceptionally strong, with no significant concerns and a highly positive culture.
