Hodge Hill Girls' School has been assessed as continuing to be a good school, maintaining its strong reputation since its last inspection. The education provided is well-received by pupils, who value the enriching experiences that prepare them for adult life. While leaders and staff set high expectations and foster positive relationships, some staff members do not consistently challenge pupils to perform at their best, leading to missed opportunities for higher achievement among some students. The school's curriculum is well-structured and inclusive, addressing the needs of all pupils, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). However, the introduction of a new reading program to support less-confident readers is yet to be fully implemented.
