This is the first inspection since the school became an academy in 2021, and the leadership has shown determination to improve attendance and learning outcomes. Despite past challenges, the newly established leadership team is effectively implementing a revised curriculum that is beginning to show positive results, especially in early reading and phonics, where many pupils are making good progress.
