Farringdon Academy has made significant progress since its last inspection, moving from a previous grade of 'Requires Improvement' to 'Good'. The school provides a supportive environment where pupils thrive academically and socially. Children enjoy attending school and engage actively in their learning due to the high expectations set by staff. The teaching of reading is particularly strong, with well-trained staff supporting pupils’ literacy skills from an early age. However, the inspection also highlighted that some pupils face challenges in recalling information from the curriculum, particularly due to the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
