Yew Tree Community Junior and Infant School provides a good quality of education where pupils feel safe, happy, and proud of their school community. The school has established a respectful and supportive environment with effective leadership and management. The curriculum is ambitious and inclusive, especially for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). There are also strong early years provisions that help children settle in quickly and learn well, contributing positively to their preparedness for future education stages. However, the school is aware of some areas for improvement, particularly in ensuring that the changes in leadership translate to consistent monitoring of curriculum effectiveness and further enrichment opportunities for all pupils, particularly those with SEND.
