Corpus Christi Catholic College, located at Neville Road in Halton Moor, Leeds (LS9 0TT), is a distinguished secondary school with a rich heritage and a commitment to Catholic education within the West Yorkshire region. Established in 1968, the school boasts a vibrant learning environment with around 900 to 1,000 students aged 11 to 16. The College is co-educational and is highly regarded for its achievements, with approximately half of its students earning five or more A*-C grades at GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education).

As a voluntary-academy since April 2021, Corpus Christi is sponsored by the St Gregory the Great Catholic Academy Trust, a shift from the school’s previous voluntary aided status administrated by Leeds City Council. The institution proudly displays the motto, "Laborare est orare" (To work is to pray). The school presents itself in the colors purple and yellow.

One of Corpus Christi Catholic College’s most notable alumni is Liz Dawn, a British actress best known for her role in soap opera Coronation Street. The school’s history includes a significant milestone, by becoming the first Inner City Leeds High School to gain Specialist School status in September 2001, subsequently becoming a Technology College. In November 2006, Corpus Christi received an overall Grade 2 (Good) by Ofsted, with some services graded outstanding.

Between 2009 and 2013, the facilities at Corpus Christi underwent a substantial refurbishment and modernization with contributions from the UK Government and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Leeds. In what became a tragic event for the school, on April 28, 2014, teacher Ann Maguire was murdered in the school by a student, a crime which garnered international attention and resulted in a 16-year-old being sentenced to detention at Her Majesty’s pleasure, with a minimum tariff of 20 years.

The school community is reinforced by its feeder primary schools, including Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School, St Theresa’s Roman Catholic Primary School, St Gregory’s Catholic Primary School, Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School, and St Nicholas’ Catholic Primary School. Additionally, the school encourages positive behaviors through its credit system, rewarding students with monthly monetary Attendance Draws, 'Going for Gold' and punctuality certificates, and house points and credits.
