The curriculum is well structured, teaching is generally effective, and staff value the coaching and support they receive. Leadership and governance are well supported by the trust. There are two main areas for improvement. Achievement across the wider curriculum is variable, and spelling and handwriting are not as well developed as they could be because errors are not picked up consistently or quickly enough. Some pupils find the behaviour approach too strict and would like more responsibility and opportunities to share their views; a small number of parents also raised concerns about behaviour management. Pupils lack a secure understanding of fundamental British values, and some are not fully confident to share views when they disagree.
