Bedlington Academy is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form located in Bedlington, Northumberland, England. Established in 1926, the institution has a rich history starting as Bedlington Secondary School, later becoming Bedlington Grammar School (previously known for notable figures such as Sir Bobby Charlton CBE and Sir John Hall) and transforming into a comprehensive school in 1974.

The school is now part of the North East Learning Trust and has continually evolved, including a new building opened in September 2016 following the old school's closure earlier that year, allowing for demolition to occur. Bedlington Academy enrolls students aged 11 to 19, and as a modern development, it is conveniently situated in Palace Road, near the junction of the A189 and A1147, and near the A189 bridge over the River Blyth.

Admissions are available for students entering Years 7 and 9. Year 7 students typically come from five feeder primary schools: Bedlington Station Primary School, Stead Lane Primary School, Mowbray Primary School, Ringway Primary School, and Stakeford Primary School, while Year 9 students come from the three-tier system at Meadowdale Academy. The school's modern learning environment supports updates such as becoming a Maths and Computing College in 2009.

The headteacher is Joanna Lamb, and the executive headteacher is Toni Spoors, both leading the school through its recent and ongoing development. The school provides contemporary learning in an inclusive and warm atmosphere that values social responsibility and collective growth.
