The Olive School Hackney E9 6EJ is a 630-place Muslim faith-based primary school with a strong ethos built around educational excellence, character development, and service to the community. Established in September 2013, the school initially welcomed 90 Reception and 90 Year 1 children, expanding year by year. The school embraces a diverse community, welcoming pupils and parents of all faiths and none.

Olive School Hackney is part of Star Academies, noted for its leadership specialism, and has achieved an outstanding rating in every category at its first Ofsted inspection in May 2015. Principal Babar Mirza leads the school and guides the inspirational staff to nurture, inspire, challenge, and support each child, striving for them to succeed and develop their natural gifts and talents.
