Canonbury Primary School continues to perform well, maintaining its status as a good school with strong leadership and a dedicated staff. The school fosters an environment where pupils are happy, motivated, and eager to learn, thanks to high expectations set by teachers. Reading is given priority, and while there are effective strategies in place to support pupils' reading development, the phonics program is still in the process of being fully embedded across the school. Importantly, pupils receiving special educational needs support are well catered for, ensuring their needs are met effectively. Overall, the school promotes a positive atmosphere with a strong focus on both academic and personal development.
